Ventotene

Ventotene is one of the Pontine Islands in the Tyrrhenian Sea with 687 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2012). It belongs to the province of Latina in the Italian region of Lazio. Your ancient name was Pandataria or Pandateria.

Geography

The island has an area of ​​about 153 hectares and is of volcanic origin. On the political community Ventotene also includes the small offshore, now uninhabited island of Santo Stefano.

History
