Vysoké

Vysoke ( German Wisoky, 1939-45: Wissoken ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located three kilometers north-east of Zdar nad Sázavou and belongs to Okres Zdar nad Sázavou.

Geography

Vysoke is located in the south of Saarer mountains on a hill between the valleys of the streams Staviště, Sázava and Pernicka. North-east rises the Kříbek (709 m ) in the east, the Zlata horka (640 m ) west of the Zelena hora (611 m) and the Černý les ( 648 m).

Neighboring towns are Světnov in the north, and Výstupek Počítky in the northeast, Lhotka in the east, in the southeast Veselíčko, Plíčky and Mělkovice in the south, Zdar nad Sázavou the southwest, Pohod, Lyra and Jordánek in the west and Stržanov and Pod strži in the northwest.

History

The village was founded in the second half of the 14th century. The first written mention of the Cistercian monastery associated Saar village Vysoke place in the year 1407. The first local seal dates from 1667.

After the abolition of patrimonial Vysoke formed in 1850 a municipality in the administrative district of Nove Mesto. Vysoke 1949 was assigned to the Okres Zdar nad Sázavou. In 1961, the annexation to Počítky and 1980-1991, the village was incorporated to Zdar nad Sázavou. Since 2007, the municipality performs a coat of arms.
