2006 FINA Diving World Cup
The World Cup in 2006 was a water jump organized by FINA Diving competition series in which up to July 23, 2006 took place from 19 in Changshu. A total of ten competitions were held, respectively in men and women individual events from the 1- meter and 3- meter springboard and the 10 - meter platform and synchronized competitions from the 3- meter springboard and 10 - meter tower.
In the individual competition of the 3- meter springboard and 10 - meter tower, a new mode has been tried, of those for previous international competitions, only the 1- meter board. It took place after the preliminaries held two semi-finals, from which only the best three athletes qualified for the final. The competitions were dominated by Chinese athletes who won all ten possible titles and a total of 15 medals. Overall, athletes from seven different countries have won medals.
