Beauport Harfangs

The Harfangs de Beauport was a Canadian ice hockey team from Beauport, Québec. The team played from 1990 to 1997 in one of the three highest Canadian Junior Hockey League, the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League ( QMJHL ).

History

The Harfangs de Beauport were established in 1990 as a franchise of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. The most successful season the team was the 1995/96 season in which she claimed a sweep in the best- of-seven series against L' Océanic de Rimouski and 4-1 victories against the Olympiques de Hull only in the finals at the Coupe du Président the prédateurs de Granby documents with 1:4. In addition, the Harfangs ended in the season 1994/95 and 1995/96 respectively the regular season in first place of the Dilio Division. After seven years of the franchise in 1997 to Quebec City, Quebec, moved, where it participates since then under the name Remparts de Québec at play operation of the QMJHL.

Name factor for this hockey team is the snowy owl, which is called in French Harfang des neiges.
