China men's national basketball team
The Chinese national basketball team represents the People's Republic of China in international basketball games of Lords. Since its recognition by the FIBA 1974 she dominated the Asia Cup and won 15 of 20 sweeps.
Until 1974, China was represented by the selection of the Republic of China. Since then, the team won the People's Republic 15 gold, one silver and two bronze medals at the Asian Cup, so she could qualify for more World Championships and Olympic Games except for the 1998 World Cup. The sport of basketball in China has been professionalized by the establishment of the Chinese Basketball Association, from which emerged the NBA player Wang Zhizhi, Hu Weidong, Mengke Bateer, Yao Ming, Yi Jianlian and Sun Yue.
