The Col de la Forclaz (from Latin furca, fork dt ) is a pass in the Swiss canton of Valais. He links the towns of Martigny and Le Châtelard, the pass is a 1,527 m above sea level. M. between the Mont de l' Arpille ( 2,085 m) in the north and the Croix des Prélayes ( 2,417 m) in the massif of Le Génépi ( 2'884 m) in the south.

The first road was built in 1824, the current road was laid in 1957. Over the pass the main connection from Martigny via the following Col des Montets Chamonix in France.
