Danny Bois

Daniel " Danny " Wood ( born June 1, 1983 in Thunder Bay, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is active in the German Ice Hockey League for the Red Bull EHC München since the 2013/14 season. He acts preferentially on the position of the right winger.

Career

Danny Bois was selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2001 in the third round to 97th by the Colorado Avalanche. In the junior level, the striker played for the London Knights in the Ontario Hockey League, where he served as team captain for several years.

Since he was not accepted by the Avalanche, he signed in April 2004, a contract with the organization of the Ottawa Senators. From the season 2004/ 05 the Canadians played five years for the Binghamton Senators. In the season 2006/ 07 he had a use in the National Hockey League, in an away game against the Washington Capitals. In July 2009, Bois signed a contract for one year with the Chicago Blackhawks. Again, he brought it only to operations in farm team, the Rockford IceHogs.

In July 2010 he decided to leave North America to sign a one-year contract with the Austrian first division team EC Red Bull Salzburg. In the EBEL Bois played a total of three years - two seasons in Salzburg and a third at the EC Dornbirn.

On 10 May 2013, the EHC Munich Red Bull announced the signing of Danny Bois. Here he met his former coach Pierre Pagé, who already looked after him in Salzburg.
