David Jenkins (figure skater)

David Jenkins ( born June 29, 1936 in Akron, Ohio ) is an American former figure skater, who started in a single run. He is the Olympic champion of 1960 and the world champion from 1957 until 1959.

After his older brother Hayes Alan Jenkins the End of career, he dominated the men's competition in the years 1957 to 1960 and continued the winning streak of the American fort, which had begun by Richard Button 1948 and was continued by his brother in 1953. 1957 and 1958 he was World Champion in front of his compatriot Tim Brown and 1959 before the Canadian Donald Jackson.
