FAI rent-a-jet

FAI rent - a-jet is a German airline based in Nuremberg and based on the Nuremberg airport. It operates from Germany charter and air ambulance, but is also represented with several stations in Africa.

History

FAI was founded as IFA Flight Operations GmbH in 1987 and privatized in 1989. At this time she was in Flight -Ambulance - Service International GmbH renamed (in terms of its subsidiary ). In 2003 he renamed the FAI Airservice. For some years now operates as FAI FAI rent - a-jet AG.

Family Axtmann - - In December 2008, the previous owner sold 49.9 % stake in the holding company based in Nicosia MIG Aviation, a 100 % subsidiary of Marfin Investment Group, this proportion was increased in 2010 to 51%. FAI participated in March 2009 at the Nomad Aviation with headquarters in Bern, has increased the share in the meantime but sold again.

Destinations

A jet is located in Juba ( South Sudan ), more coming from Abidjan (Ivory Coast), Bamako (Mali), Dakar ( Senegal ) and Kabul ( Afghanistan) and from Kuwait to use. The aircraft in Africa and Asia are stationed there as part of UN missions. The aircraft barracks Nuremberg come in pure ambulance transport (2x Learjet 35, 2x Learjet 55, 2x Learjet 60, 2x CL 604 ) and in the executive charter (3x BD 700, 1x CRJ 200, 2x CL 604, 1x Learjet 60 XR, 1x Falcon 7X ) are used.
