Flag of the Bahamas

The flag of the Bahamas was adopted on 10 July 1973.

Description and significance

It consists of three horizontal stripes: teal top, yellow in the middle and aquamarine down again. These colors symbolize the beaches of the Bahamas and the water that surrounds it. A black triangle on banners Stock symbolizes unity.
