Flocourt

Flocourt is a commune with 122 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region. It belongs to the district of Metz- Campagne and Canton Pange.

Geography

The community Flocourt located 25 kilometers southeast of Metz at an altitude 226-273 m above sea level. The municipality covers 4.53 km ².

History

The village was first mentioned in 1050, but there are the remains of a villa from the Roman period. From 1915 to 1918 bore the name eingdeutschten Flodoaldshofen or 1941-1944 Flodalshofen.
