Gerenzano
Gerenzano is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 10,698 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2012) in the province of Varese, in the Lombardy region. The community is located about 24 kilometers northwest of Milan and about 23 km southeast of Varese on Parco degli Aironi. Gerenzano borders the provinces of Milan and Como.

Near the village are the hot springs of San Giacomo. These have not only a high lime content of a permanent temperature 9-12 degrees Celsius.
Traffic
Through the municipal area the Autostrada A9 direction Chiasso leads from Lainate Coming ( Switzerland ) and Lake Como. Furthermore, the village lies on the Strada Statale 233 Varesina. A train station is on the railway line Saronno Laveno.
