Henry Hansen (cyclist)

Henry Peter Christian Hansen ( born March 16, 1902 in Glostrup, † March 28, 1985 in Gentofte ) was a Danish cyclist.

Hansen was from 1925 to 1927 three times in a row and again in 1929 the Danish national road champion of the amateurs. In 1928 he took part in Amsterdam at the Summer Olympic Games in 1928. Hansen won both the time trial and together with Orla Jørgensen and Leo Nielsen, the team driving. 1931 Hansen was amateur world champion in the road race at the World Championships in Copenhagen. Hansen also took part in the Summer Olympic Games in 1932 in Los Angeles, where he the silver medal in team driving over 100 km won jointly with Leo Nielsen and Frode Sørensen, in the individual standings Hansen was twelfth.

Hansen was from 1937 to 1938 without major success as a professional cyclist active.
