Lower Saxon Hills

The Weser and the Weser -Leine Bergland ( Lower Saxony Bergland ), is an up to 528 m above sea level. NN high central mountain region in southern Lower Saxony, North Rhine -Westphalia in the northeastern and northern Hesse. It is a part of the German Low Mountain Range. At the Federal Agency for Nature Conservation is performed under number D36 ​​in the list of main physiographic unit groups in Germany.

The new main unit group D 36 summarizes the old main unit groups 36, 37 and 53, each of which includes parts of the Weser mountain country in the narrower and broader sense.
