Matt Kassian

Matt Kassian ( born October 28, 1986 in Edmonton, Alberta ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player. He is currently with the Ottawa Senators in the NHL under contract.

Career

Kassian was undertaken, in the NHL Entry Draft in 2005 in the 2nd round on 57 out of the Minnesota Wild. After finally playing for various teams in the American Hockey League, the ECHL and the Western Hockey League, he could make his debut for the team in November 2010. The entire season, he stood in four games on the field, but relatively unsuccessful. He was then transferred back to the Houston Aeros to be committed again a month later from the wild. This season, he completed the team for 24 games in which he could achieve his first two goals in the NHL, both in the same game against the Montreal Canadiens. He spent the next two seasons, again with the Houston Aeros. In March 2013 he was given for a draft pick in the sixth round of the NHL Entry Draft in 2014 to the Ottawa Senators.
