Matthias Buse

Matthias Buse ( born March 3, 1959 in Zittau ) is a former German ski jumper. He belonged to the SC Dynamo Klingenthal.

In the Nordic World Ski Championships 1978 in Lahti, he became world champion on the normal hill. At the World Championships in the team competition in Engelberg 1984 he won the silver medal with the East German team. In the Four Hills Tournament 1977/78 he was also runner-up. Buse took part in the 1984 Olympic Games in Sarajevo and was ranked 21 on the large hill.

Buse was from 2003 to 2006 Vice - President of the VSC Klingenthal. He is also the hill waiting in the Vogtland Arena.
