Montappone

Montappone ( in the local dialect: Montappù or Montappó ) is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 1741 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the Province of Fermo in the Marche. The municipality is situated approximately 20 km west-southwest of Fermo and directly borders the province of Macerata.
