Petritoli
Petritoli ( in the local dialect: Pietrìtulu ) is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 2397 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the Province of Fermo in the Marche. The community is located about 12 kilometers southwest of Fermo. The southern boundary of the municipality forms of Aso.
History
Petritoli is a foundation of the monastery of Farfa in the 10th century under the name Rodolfo Castel. 1055 was the church to the Bishop of Fermo.
