Pedaso

Pedaso ( in the local dialect: PEDASO or Pedasu ) is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 2760 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the Province of Fermo in the Marche. The community is located about 12.5 kilometers southeast of Fermodirekt on the Adriatic coast. The northern boundary of the municipality forms the river Aso.

History

Already in the times of Greek and pikenischer colonization there was at the point of Pedaso one place.

Traffic

Passing through the municipality next to the Autostrada A14 from Bologna to Taranto to which there is a connection, the Strada Statale 16 Adriatica. On the railway line from Ancona to Pescara is the railway station of Pedaso.
