Morgan County (Utah)

Morgan County is a county located in the state of Utah in the United States. 2010 Morgan County had 9,469 inhabitants. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Morgan, which is also the largest city in the county.

Geography

The Morgan County has an area of ​​1582 square kilometers, of which four square kilometers of water. It is bordered clockwise to the following counties: Weber County, Richmond County, Summit County, Salt Lake County and Davis County.

History

Morgan County was established in 1862. It was named after Jededia Morgan Grant, father of Heber J. Grant, who presided as head of the Mormon Church.
