Carbon County (Utah)

Carbon County is a county located in the state of Utah in the United States. The largest city and the county seat ( county seat ) is Price. 2010 21,403 people lived in Carbon County.

History

The Carbon County was founded in 1894; it has received its name from the coal deposits in the region.

Geography

Carbon County has an area of ​​3845 square kilometers, of which 16 square kilometers of water. North of East Carbon stems from the Range Creek. It is bordered clockwise to the County: Duchesne County, Uintah County, Emery County, Grand County, Utah Sanpete County and County.
