Netín

Netín ( German Nettin ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located eight kilometers north-west of Velké Meziříčí and belongs to Okres Zdar nad Sázavou.

Geography

Netín is located on the edge of Arnolecké Mountains in the Bohemian- Moravian Highlands. The village is situated at the southeastern foot of the hill Strážnice (608 m) above the creek valleys of the streams Zátoky and Křibský. In the northeast, the Hora of Černochov ( 556 m) and Kozinec collected ( 549 m), southwest ( 555 m). In the land of Netín are the Netínský rybnik, Vrkoč, Ochoz, Kněžský rybnik and Křenčák several large ponds, southeast lies the dam Mostiště.

Neighboring towns are Zadnà Zhořec, Horni Mlýn, Dolni Mlýn and minced lard in the north, Krásněves in the northeast, Dolni Bory in the east, Olší ​​nad Oslavou and Závist to the southeast, and Lavičky Kochánov in the south, southwest, and Dedkov Blízkov in the west.

History

The place was probably from the mid-12th century to the possessions of the monastery Třebíč and built in 1298 the provost Měřín transferred. However, it has a certificate that the village Nmecino after the death of the Duke Vratislav from Brno to have gotten to the monastery in 1156, as a forgery from the end of the 12th century proved. After the abolition of patrimonial Netín formed in 1850 with the districts Kochánov and Zadnà Zhorec and settlement Zaseka a municipality in the district team Velké Meziříčí. In a major fire in July 1887 37 houses and a school were destroyed. 1922 emerged the communities Kochánov and Zadnà Zhořec.
