Nissan Qashqai (2007-2010)

The Nissan Qashqai ( Nissan Dualis in Japan as ) is a compact SUV from the Japanese automaker Nissan. The name alludes to the Iranian nomadic Qashqai.

History

The on 6 September 2006, presented at the Paris Motor Show series vehicle came on February 24, 2007 in Germany on the market and is the model range between the Nissan Tiida and the Nissan X-Trail is positioned. The production model emerged from the same study, which was presented in March 2004 at the Geneva Motor Show.

Features

The Nissan Qashqai is available in four versions: as the basic version in the equipment Visia, Acenta version in the middle, in the upscale I- Way version and in the top version Tekna. Standard for all versions with air conditioning or climate control, remote central locking, electric windows and a CD radio with Bluetooth hands-free. The safety equipment includes six airbags, fog lights, ABS, ESP, HFC ( hydraulic fading control / hydraulic balancing of brake fading ), EBD and CBC. For an additional charge, or in the high-order versions are also extras such as leather seats, 17- inch alloy wheels, xenon headlights, panoramic glass roof, CD changer or a navigation system with rearview camera or from January 2012 with Around View Monitor ( AVM) available.

As of early 2013, the I- Way version is no longer available and is replaced by the new trim level 360. In this slightly more expensive trim level the existing I- Way Package supplemented by a significantly upgraded interior with previous Tekna elements is (including seats with partial leather upholstery, leather trim on the Innseiten the doors). In addition to the 360 version is now for the first time white- metallic available as a color option.

Qashqai 2

In October 2008, the sale of an extended version of Qashqai 2 began. With 4.53 meters, it towers over the five-seat Qashqai by 21 inches and with a third row of seats and retractable offers two additional individual seats in the vehicle floor. Also, the wheelbase has been increased by 13 centimeters and the height increased by four inches.

Externally, the Qashqai 2 to the roof rails, larger third side windows, new doors and shaped a changed roofline and a new grille, a larger rear window and a modified bumper can be seen. Inside, the second row of seats is divided triply folded down and the backrest can be locked in nine different positions. The boot capacity with recessed third row of seats is 500 liters, which is 90 more than the normal Qashqai.

From this, the four engines and three equipment lines are adopted. The panorama glass roof is available in the extended version; however, it was increased by 14 centimeters.

Technology

Gasoline engines:

The 1.6 -liter model has front-wheel drive in conjunction with a five-speed manual transmission. The 2.0 - liter engine is available with a six -speed manual or a CVT -M6- automatic transmission, both with front, as well as with all-wheel drive. Fuel consumption is between 6.7 to 8.4 l/100 km and CO2 emissions are fixed at 159-199 g / km.

DCi diesel engines ( common rail):

The 1.5 dCi is available with front-wheel drive and a six-speed manual transmission. With the optional diesel particulate filter, the performance drops to 76 kW. The larger diesel is available with all-wheel drive and with either automatic or manual transmission and standard particle filter. Fuel consumption is 5.2 to 7.8 l/100 km and CO2 emissions amounted to 139-208 g / km.

Security

With 36.8 of 37 possible points, the Nissan Qashqai achieved the best result for occupant protection in over ten years EuroNCAP crash test history. With two out of four stars of the pedestrian protection against falls accordingly but only mediocre.

In the summer of 2011, approximately 12,000 vehicles were recalled ( Construction period August 27, 2010 to 18 February 2011) due to brake problems worldwide.

Facelift

Qashqai Qashqai 2 and the models have undergone a facelift in the spring of 2010. Both headlights and grille and tail lights were adjusted to the current Nissan family look.

2nd generation Qashqai from 2013

The second generation of the Nissan Qashqai was launched in November 2013 in London. The launch in the Federal Republic of Germany in February 2014. Production also takes place in the plant in the Nissan Motor Manufacturing (UK) Ltd.. in Washington. There are 3 trim levels ( Visia, Acenta and Tekna ).
