Pete Jacobs (triathlete)

Pete Jacobs (born 27 October 1981) is an Australian triathlete and Ironman World Champion (2012 ).

Career

Pete Jacobs will start as a professional triathlete since 2004. His nickname is PJ. He is one of the fastest swimmers among triathletes.

In 2008 he was able to decide the Busselton Half Ironman for the fourth time in a row, and in August 2010 he reached the Philippines its first victory in a certified as Ironman 70.3 race ( 1.9 km swim, 90 km cycling and 21.1 km running). In April 2011, he was with his win at Ironman Australia its first victory on the long- distance reach (3.86 km swim, 180.2 km cycling and 42.195 km running), and in October he was on Hawaii Vice World Champion.

In 2012, Jacobs won the age of 30 Ironman Hawaii and thus became world champion on the long haul.

Pete Jacobs is married since 2010 with Jaimielle Marsh, the two now live in Sydney.
