The Peugeot D3 is a transporter of Peugeot and was produced from 1946 to 1955. As the engine from the passenger cars Peugeot 202 and 203 was used.

History

The vehicle was introduced in 1946 in the style Chenard et Walker CHV as successor to the Peugeot DMA. The original version had a water-cooled engine with 1021 cc and 19 kW (26 hp) and a maximum payload of 1500 kg.

In 1947 a more powerful engine of the Peugeot 202 with 1133 cc and 22 kW (30 hp) added. A year later, they built a the 1290 cc engine from the big Peugeot 203, which carried two horsepower more than the out of the 202 This means that the model designation was changed to Peugeot D3A.

In 1952 came a motor with 29 kW (40 hp) and a custom radiator grille. In this step, the model name was changed to Peugeot D3B. 1955 D3B was then replaced by the second generation of the model, the Peugeot D4, which was produced until 1965 and offered with engines of 45 and 50 hp. In 1959 there was the D4 also with a diesel engine.
