Puchegg

Puchegg with 560 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013 ) is a municipality in the district court Fürstenfeld and in the political district of Hartberg - Fürstenfeld in Styria ( Austria ). From 1 January 2015, is the framework of the Styrian municipality structural reform with the communities Vorau, Riegersberg, Schachen together with Vorau Vornholz, the new community will continue to use the name " Vorau ".

Geography

Geographical Location

Puchegg located in Joglland about 13 km north-west of the district capital Hartberg. The community is located between the Pöllauer valley and the valley of Voraubaches, a tributary of the Lafnitz. The highest point in the municipality is to Masenberg belonging " Pongratzer Kogel " with a height of 1248 m above sea level. A. Unlike other communities Puchegg has no center, which is characterized by dense colonization. The community consists mostly of farms, which are distributed over the entire Wutzlviertel and the lime quarters.

Puchegg is a rural community with vast forest areas. Accordingly, the community has numerous trails that some have a beautiful view over the Joglland.

Traffic

Puchegg is off the main roads, not even through traffic is in the municipal area available. The South A 2 motorway from Vienna to Graz is about 25 km away and the junction Friedberg / Pinggau (95 ) can be achieved. The distance to the changing road B 54 from Wiener Neustadt to Hartberg is approximately 15 km.

Puchegg is not connected to the railway network. Within a radius of ten kilometers, no station is available.

Graz Airport is about 80 km away.
