History

The Renault 6 was launched in October 1968. It was designed as a slightly larger successor to the Renault 4. The R6 was directed with his more modern for its time design, which was based on the Renault 16, especially for young families. Engine variants

The strongest version of GTL R6 ( R1181 ) was with 1397 cc and 60 hp only slightly stronger, but further modernization improved both the performance as well as fuel consumption.
