Robert Dill-Bundi

Robert Dill - Bundi ( born November 18, 1958 in Chippis ) is a retired Swiss cyclist, who was mainly successful in track cycling. He was once each Olympic champion in the individual pursuit and world champion in keirin. He is so far the only Swiss racing cyclist, the Olympic champion.

Biography

International Dill- Bundi made ​​in 1975 attracted attention when he became junior world champion in the individual pursuit. He repeated this success the following year. In the team pursuit, he won at the World Championships in 1977 and 1978 each a bronze medal. He celebrated his biggest success at the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow with the victory in the individual pursuit.
