Sande, Møre og Romsdal
Sande is a municipality in the Norwegian Fylke (administrative district ) Møre og Romsdal. The administrative center of the municipality is Larsnes.
Geography
The Commune of up 708 meters ( Koftehorn ) high mountains located in the south of Fylke and is bordered to the northwest by the Atlantic Ocean. Sands stretches from north to south over the associated Rovedefjorden to 18.8 and from east to west to 23.67 km. The area was until December 31, 2001 136, now only 91 square kilometers. The largest islands in the municipality are Sandsøya with 12 and Kvamsøy 7.5 square kilometers.
The neighboring municipalities of sands are Herøy Vanylven, and neighboring Fylke Sogn og Fjordane, the municipality Selje.
