Stanisław Trepczyński

Stanisław Trepczynski ( born April 7, 1924 in Łódź, † 20 June 2002) was a Polish politician and diplomat. It was 1972, the General Assembly of the United Nations at the 27th regular session before as its president. He also served from March 1971 Deputy Foreign Minister of Poland.

During the German occupation of Poland during the Second World War Trepczynski was a worker, after the liberation, he was a member of the Communist Party in 1946 and studied Economics in Łódź; He received his master's degree through a work on the reconstruction of West Germany.

In March 1971 he was elected Vice- Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland in September 1971 in the Central Committee of the PZPR. His responsibilities included, in particular also the contact of Poland to international organizations.

He headed the Polish delegation to the Organisation of the Warsaw Pact.

In 1990, he represented the UNICEF deputy member of the joint committee of the UNESCO and UNICEF on education ( UNESCO / UNICEF Joint Committee on Education).
