Stefano Colantuono ( born October 23, 1962 in Rome, Italy ) is a retired Italian footballer and current coach.

As a player, among other things, for the U.S. Avellino, Como Calcio Ascoli Calcio and active, he coached later, among others, U.S. Palermo, Catania Calcio and FC Turin. Currently Colantuono is engaged in second term at the first division club Atalanta.

Playing career

Stefano Colantuono went through in his career as a football player a variety of club stations. He began his career in 1980 at the Roman club VJS Velletri, who played but only at amateur level. There acted Stefano Colantuono, who was to find the position of a libero for three years until 1983. Afterwards he moved to third division Ternana Calcio.
