Tâmega Subregion

Tamego is a statistical subregion of Portugal and part of the Região Norte. It was named after the river. For the most part it consists of areas of the district of Porto and Viseu and Aveiro is completed by individual circles in the districts of Braga, Vila Real. In the north, bordering Ave and Alto Trás -os- Montes, in the east of Douro, in the south Dão Douro e Vouga Entre Lafões and in the west and to the Grande Porto subregion.
