United Nations Security Council Resolution 1717
Resolution 1717 of the UN Security Council is a resolution to the tribunal in Rwanda, which was adopted by the UN Security Council unanimously at its 5550th meeting, on 13 October 2006.

With the resolution of the Office 18 was ad litem, that is temporarily appointed judges until 31 December 2008. In Resolution 1684 of the UN Security Council of 13 June 2006, the term of office of the eleven permanent judges at the International Tribunal for Rwanda had been extended until 31 December 2008. The Security Council has also decided that the judges Bossa, Arrey, Lattanzi, Muthoga, Short, Hökborg, Hikmet, Kam and Park may be active for longer than 12 ter of the Statute of the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda was set out in Article. The resolution was adopted on the proposal of the United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan.
