Wang Nam Khiao District

Amphoe Wang Nam khiao ( Thai: อำเภอ วัง น้ำ เขียว ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the south of Nakhon Ratchasima. The Nakhon Ratchasima province is located in the northeast region of Thailand, the so-called Isaan.

Geography

Amphoe Wang Nam khiao borders the following districts (from north clockwise): the Amphoe Pak Thong Chaiund Khon Buri in the province of Nakhon Ratchasima, the Amphoe Na Di and Prachantakham the province of Prachinburi, as well as to the Amphoe Pak Chong and Sung Noen turn in Nakhon Ratchasima.

History

Wang Nam khiao was on 1 April 1992 initially as a small district ( King Amphoe ) was established by the four Tambon Wang Nam Khiao, Wang Mi, Udom Sap and Raroeng were separated from Amphoe Pak Thong Chai. On 5 December 1996, he was officially promoted to Amphoe.

Management

Amphoe Wang Nam khiao is divided into 5 subdistricts ( tambon), which in turn in 83 municipalities ( Muban ) are divided.

There is a small town ( thesaban tambon) in the district:

  • San Chao Pho ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ศาล เจ้าพ่อ ), consisting of parts of the tambon Wang Nam khiao and Thai Samakkhi.

In addition, five administrative organizations exist ( " Tambon Administrative Organizations" - TAO, Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ).
