Wilfried Pallhuber

Wilfried " Willi the kid" Pallhuber (* August 4, 1967 in lawn at Antholz, South Tyrol ) is a former Italian biathlete.

At the Olympic Winter Games in Turin in 2006 the South Tyrolean participated in the Olympics for the fifth time.

Pallhuber had his greatest moment in the sport of biathlon, as he in the 10-kilometer sprint world champion in 1997. In 1993 he won the gold medal in the 4 x 7.5 km relay at the Biathlon World Championships together with Johann Passler, Pieralberto Carrara and Andreas Zingerle. In the first Summer Biathlon World Championships 1996 in Hochfilzen, he won the title in the sprint race.

At the end of the season 2006/ 07 the South Tyrolean finished his career with the pursuit race in Russia's Khanty-Mansiysk, where he finished 58th.
