The 45th International Film Festival of Cannes 1992 took place between 18 May 1992 from May 7.

International Jury
This year, the French actor Gerard Depardieu was president of the jury. He stood in front of a jury with the following members: Pedro Almodóvar, John Boorman, René Cleitman, Jamie Lee Curtis, Carlo Di Palma, Nana Dschordschadse, Lester James Peries, Serge Toubiana and jöle Van Effenterre.
