2011–12 Segunda División

The Segunda División 2011/12 was the 81st season of the Spanish second division. The season start was originally scheduled for 20 July 2011, but had to be postponed due to a players strike on 26 August 2011. The schedule could still be met and the season ended on June 17, 2012 with the finals of the playoffs. When relegated to the Primera División took Deportivo La Coruña, Hércules Alicante and UD Almería participated in the season. Moved up from the Segunda División B were Real Murcia, CE Sabadell, CD Guadalajara and CD Alcoyano.

Play-Offs

At the play-offs, the teams took to the courts three to six of the regular season in part. In the semifinals, the third party encountered the Sixth and Fourth to the Fifth. The winner of the final match Real Valladolid qualified as a third climber for the Primera División.
