2011 Nielsen Pro Tennis Championships

The Nielsen Pro Tennis Championships 2011, the 20th edition of the hard court tennis tournament in Winnetka. It was part of the ATP Challenger Tour in 2011 and was held from 26 June to 2 July 2011 at the outside.

The field of the individual competition consisted of 32 players, double that of the competition from 16 pairs. For the individual tournament, a qualifying round with 30 participants took place in the run-up in which four players were able to qualify for the main draw. The prize money of the event was a total as last year U.S. $ 50,000.

The single won the tournament set a wildcard at position two American James Blake, who beat his set at position five compatriot Bobby Reynolds in straight sets in the final. This was the eighth Challenger singles title of his career and the second this season. Last year's winner Brian Dabul difference at position six set out in the first round.

In the doubles competition, the top seed pairing set consisting of Treat Huey and individual finalist Reynolds in straight sets against the set at position two Jordan Kerr and Travis Parott by. This was for Huey the ninth Challenger title of his career and the fourth in this season. For Reynolds, it was the 22nd career doubles title in this category and also the fourth of the season. It was their first joint tournament success. Last year's winners Ryler Deheart and Pierre- Ludovic Duclos played in this constellation, not this year. While Deheart completely renounced participation, Duclos failed with his partner Alex Kuznetsov this year in the first round.
