Athletics at the 2008 Summer Olympics – Women's 4 × 100 metres relay
The 4-by- 100-meter relay race of women in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing was held on 21 and 22 August 2008 in the Beijing National Stadium. 16 teams took part.
There were two heats. It qualified in each case the first three and the two fastest time scales for the final. The directly qualified teams are light blue, highlighted the over time scales of qualified light green.

The victory was the first gold medal of the Russian squadron. The Belgian squadron was the first medal win their country over the 4 by 100 meters. The Nigerian relay that won the bronze medal, stood as a replacement for Cuba, whose season despite geschaffter qualification did not participate. Also, Finland's sprint relay opted not to participate and was replaced by Thailand.
