Birkenhügel
Birch Hill is a municipality in the southern part of the Thuringian Saale -Orla -Kreis. She is a member of the administrative community Saale- Rennsteig.

History
Birkenhügel was taken on February 28, 1923 by the merger of places Lerchenhügel and Pirk. Until 1918 the territory of the municipality belonged to the principality of Reuss Younger Line.
