Bucharest is a town in the Saale- Orla-Kreis in Thuringia ( Germany ).

Geography
The municipality belongs to the administrative community lakes. The administrative headquarters are in the town Oettersdorf. About a side valley east of goats back along the road Ziegenriick - Knauer is Bucha, east flanked by the ponds and lakes of the Knauer area.
Geology
The soils of the South East Thuringian Slate Mountains have a high proportion of fine soil and a high humus content and are very fertile in conjunction with the climate.
