Dutch Open (badminton)
The Dutch Open in badminton are the open international championships in the Netherlands. They were first held in mid-November in 1931 and are therefore in Europe outside Scandinavia and Britain in addition to the French Open, the most senior international championships. However, from 1938 to 1952, the title fights stopped for a long break. In 2008, the tournament was held for the 60th time.
