Fevzi Zemzem

Fevzi Zemzem (born 4 June 1941 in Iskenderun ) is a former Turkish football player and football coach.

Through his many years of service Göztepe Izmir he is very strongly associated with this club. In fan - club page and he is regarded as one of the greatest players in the club's history. To players times it was because of his physical strength and his assertiveness as buldozer Fevzi: referred (English Fevzi the bulldozer). He stands with such players as Nevzat Güzelırmak and Ali Artuner for the glorious time Göztepes in the three major Istanbul clubs Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe and Beşiktaş was made one of the first Anatolian team competition. Zemzem was the top scorer of this team and was recognized as such in the Erstligasaison 1967/68 top scorer in the Süper Lig

Playing career

Fevzi Zemzem played 14 years for Göztepe Izmir. In the 14 years he scored 146 goals and once scorer 1967/68. For Turkey, he played 18 games. During his active career was called Fevzi Zemzem bulldozer.

With his club he won by a 3-1 win over Fenerbahce at end of season 1969/70 the President Cup. This one was the first non- Istanbul club could win this trophy.

Coaching career

His first job as manager was at Orduspor. The season Orduspor he finished at No. 4 (1978 /79), which he qualified his team for the UEFA Cup. Later he trained Samsunspor and Diyarbakirspor.
