Fikri Elma

Fikri Elma ( born January 1, 1934 in Ankara, † November 15, 1999 in Ankara) was a Turkish football player.

Playing career

Elma played in his entire career for Ankara Demirspor. In 12 years of his career, the striker scored in 303 league inserts 136 gates and is in 11th place the most goals in the Süper Lig He was also with 21 goals in the 1961/62 season, top scorer of the first Turkish league. Although it was the fourth season of the Turkish league, Fikri Elma was only the second top scorer at all. The first three years was Metin Oktay scorer. This played in the 1961/62 season in Italy for U.S. Palermo.

In the following season Elma scored with 24 goals more than before, but Metin Oktay again played for Galatasaray and made in the same season 38 goals. Despite its continuous gates he never came to Turkey for use.

After his playing career, it was quiet around the striker. Before his death, he was a board member of Gençlerbirliği Ankara. Fikri Elma died on 15 November 1999.
