Herman H. Taylor

Herman Henry Taylor (born 6 December 1877 in Wisconsin, † February 22, 1929 in Boise, Idaho ) was an American politician. Between 1913 and 1917 he was Deputy Governor of the State of Idaho.

Career

About the youth and education of Herman Taylor nothing is handed down. He must have studied law but because he acted later as a judge. He came to a non- traditional time to Idaho, where he struck as a member of the Republican Party a political career. In 1912 he was elected to the side of John M. Haines for Lieutenant Governor of Idaho. This post he held for a re-election from January 5, 1913 and January 1, 1917. Yet he was Deputy Governor and Chairman of the State Senate. Since 1915, he served under the new Governor Moses Alexander.

Since 1925 until his death was Herman Taylor Judge of the Idaho Supreme Court He died on February 22, 1929 in Boise. With his late wife Katherine in 1917 he had a daughter.
