The Chevrolet SS is a sports sedan of the U.S. carmaker General Motors. He has been offered since 2013, and is technically based on the Holden Commodore ( GM Zeta platform ) and is technically almost identical to the HSV Clubsport has, however, in comparison to this a slightly reduced performance. The SS stands for Sports Sedan.
The SS is the first new Chevrolet sedan with rear-wheel drive in the U.S. for 17 years. As the GM V8 engine comes in version LS3 combined with a six -speed automatic transmission is used. The acceleration from 0 to 97 km / h ( 60 mph ) is given by 5 seconds.
