Landsmeer
Land Sea ( listen? / I ) is a village and civil parish in the Waterland region of the Dutch province of North Holland. The municipality has 10,457 inhabitants ( 1 January 2013), its area covers 26.44 km ², of which 3.68 km ² water surface.
In 1966, the municipality of parts were south of the (A10 ) amalgamated to Amsterdam. Land sea belongs to the " Kaderwetgebied " Regionaal Orgaan Amsterdam ( ROA), a supra-municipal and some have provincial consortium of 16 cities with a total of more than one million inhabitants around Amsterdam. Land Sea lies partly in the nature reserve Het Twiske; whose care divides the community with Zaanstad, Oostzaan and Amsterdam.
Land sea was in 1968 a local partnership with the North Rhine-Westphalian municipality Lieberhausen one. As the above bergische community was dissolved in municipal reform and incorporated its northern part, Gummersbach, her southern portion to Wiedenest - Belmicke - Pernze to Berg Neustadt, Neustadt Berg continued the twinning. Since 1986, a partnership with the French Chatenay -Malabry.
