Laxou

Laxou is a commune with 14,681 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Meurthe -et -Moselle in the Lorraine region. It is the capital of the eponymous canton in the Arrondissement Laxou Nancy.

Geography

Laxou is immediately adjacent to the west of the city center of Nancy. The two cities go without any visible border on each other. In the district of Laxou the Autoroute A33 of the Autoroute A31 branches off.
