Mancha Khiri District

Amphoe Mancha Khiri ( Thai: อำเภอ มัญจาคีรี ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the province of Khon Kaen. The Khon Kaen Province is located in the northeast region of Thailand, Isan.

Geography

Neighboring districts are (from north clockwise): Amphoe Nong the Ruea, Ban Fang, Phra Yuen, Haet Ban, Ban Phai, Khok Pho Chai Chonnabot and in the province of Khon Kaen, Amphoe Kaeng and Ban Thaen Khro and the province of Chaiyaphum.

History

The district was renamed in 1939 by Kut Khao Mancha Khiri in.

Administrative units

Amphoe Mancha Khiri is ( tambon) divided into eight municipalities, which in turn in 90 village communities ( Muban ) are divided.

There is a small town ( thesaban tambon) in the district:

• Mancha Khiri ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล มัญจาคีรี ), consisting of parts of the tambon Khao Kut,
• Na Kha ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล นา ข่า ), consisting of the gesqamten Tambon Na Kha.

There are also seven administrative organizations ( " Tambon Administrative Organizations" - TAO, Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ).
