Molveno

Molveno ( German outdated: Malfein ) is a municipality with 1123 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) the province of Trento in Trentino -Alto Adige, Italy. It is located on Lake Moveno ( Lake Molveno ), a 4 km long lake that is up to 120 m deep. The lake is fed by a small stream and several small tributaries from the mountains. The effluent is the Bach Bondai, the south of San Lorenzo in the Sarca river, the main tributary of the Lago di Garda, opens. The village lies at an altitude of 864 m s.l.m. in the Brenta mountains northwest of Trento and is a climatic health and winter sports resort.

The state road SS421 from Ponte Arche to Mezzo Lombardo ( German: Welsch Metz) pervades the place. The nearest major town is Andalo 5 km away.
